La Galeteria is the place where Julieta´s Cookies are manufactured. They have been in the Guatemalan market for more than twenty years, and since then everyone who dares to try them, considers them a huge hit!

Julieta´s Cookie Cream

Ingredients

  • 40 Julieta´s Cookies
  • 100 gr. of sugar
  • 400 gr. liquid whipping cream
  • 600 ml. milk
  • 3 teaspoons of dulce de leche
  • 1 teaspoon curd powder

Preparation

  1. Pulverize the cookies in the blender.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
  3. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, cook the mixture for five minutes over low heat and stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into glasses.
  5. Refrigerate for five hours and serve a delicious dessert.

Lemon Pie with Julieta's Cookies

Ingredients

  • 40 Julieta´s Cookies
  • 100 gr. melted butter
  • 100 gr. melted butter
  • 2 envelopes of lemon jelly
  • 200 ml. of water
  • 500 ml. liquid whipping cream
  • 250 gr. cream cheese
  • 100 gr. of sugar
  • 150 ml. milk

Preparation

  1. In the food processor, pulverize the Juliet Cookies and place them in a deep bowl. Add the butter and form a dough with which you cover the pie pan. Refrigerate.
  2. Heat the water to a boil and dissolve the lemon gelatin sachets in it. Let it temper.
  3. In the blender, mix the cream, cheese, sugar and milk, beating until everything is well combined. Then add the gelatin at room temperature and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the mold lined with the Julieta´s Cookie dough and refrigerate for three hours before serving.

Glass of fresh cheese and cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 Julieta´s Cookies
  • 125 gr. mascarpone cheese whipped
  • 15 gr. raspberry jam or similar
  • Raspberries

Preparation

  1. Place the Julieta´s Cookies in a bag and with a batter, break them to taste and cover the bottom of a glass.
  2. Add the whipped mascarpone cheese and then the jam.
  3. Garnish with raspberries.
  4. Serve a delicious fresh dessert.

Strawberry Carlota with Julieta´s Cookies

Ingredients

  • 40 Julieta´s Cookies.
  • 1 liter of Greek yogurt.
  • 2 lb. of strawberries washed, disinfected and leafless.
  • 2 tbsp. white sugar.

Preparation

  1. In the food processor, pulverize the Julieta´s Cookies.
  2. Cover the bottom of the jar with Julieta´s Cookies.
  3. Place the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and heat to a simmer.
  4. Cover 2/3 of the jar with the Greek yogurt.
  5. Pour the strawberry sauce over the yogurt.
  6. Serve a delicious dessert.

Julieta´s Cookie Atol

Ingredients

  • 20 Julieta´s Cookies
  • 4 liters of milk
  • ½ liter of water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp. granulated panela
  • Sugar to taste

Preparation

  1. Blend the Julieta´s Cookies with the necessary amount of milk until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. For best results, you can soften the cookies by soaking them in the milk for a while before blending.
  2. In a pot, boil the water with the cinnamon sticks and granulated brown sugar until completely dissolved.
  3. Add the rest of the milk and just before it starts to boil, add the Juliet Cookie mixture. Move constantly.
  4. Cook over moderate heat, until boiling.
  5. Add sugar to taste.
  6. Enjoy a delicious atol.
